Eden Quine-Taylor is an award-winning Welsh filmmaker known for her emotionally resonant short films that have a strong foundation of worldbuilding, and explore humanity and societal behaviour. Eden began filmmaking at the age of 13 and quickly garnered recognition for her storytelling.
Her early work received numerous accolades, including Best Film at the Into Film Awards and the U21 Rising Star Award at the BAFTA-affiliated Carmarthen Bay Film Festival. In 2022, she was named Into Film’s “One to Watch,” cementing her status as one of the UK’s most promising young directors.
Eden is also an ambassador for Kidscape, an anti-bullying charity, and CMTC-OVM, supporting individuals with rare vascular skin conditions—a cause close to her heart.
With a growing portfolio of thought-provoking films Eden continues to use cinema as a platform for change and connection.
Her short film, I’m the One, was converted into an educational resource by Kidscape and Into Film, to be used around schools as a bullying awareness classroom tool.
Selected from a pool of 50 pitches, Eden’s most recent short film, Paper Tiger (2025), is a dystopian thriller set in a totalitarian world where citizens are conditioned to physical uniformity through a gene-editing drug called “ImmUnity.” The film is currently making its way around the festival circuit.
